Concert Enhancement Programs

SYMPHONY 101

This innovative program allows you to have a "backstage" view of the Symphony world from SSO conductors and musicians and area music faculty, with live music and dessert receptions, all for a modest fee!

Symphony 101 classes for the 2008-2009 season will be announced soon.

CLASSICAL CHAT

Classical Chat is currently on hiatus.

GLADYS BROOKS PRE-CONCERT LECTURE

One hour before each Classics Series concert, the conductor, and selected guests present background material on the music and composers to be featured in the evening's repertoire. These are held in the concert hall and are available to all Classics concert ticket holders. They begin at 7 pm on Saturdays and 2 pm on Sundays.

YOUNG MUSICIANS' SHOWCASE

Student ensembles perform in the Lobby 30 minutes before selected Spokane Symphony concerts. Last season, the Symphony featured over 300 student musicians in 22 ensembles from more than 30 schools, ranging from elementary through college levels!
