Just in time for Halloween! Immerse yourself in the music of Harry Potter with the Spokane Symphony. The program includes selections from John Williams' score from the popular movies: "Aunt Marge's Waltz" from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and "Harry's Wondrous World" from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It's an interactive concert experience for wizards of all ages, featuring the Spokane Symphony under the direction of Morihiko "Professor Dumbledore" Nakahara. Choose the 2 pm matinee or the 8 pm evening concert. Then select which "house" you would like to be a part of - Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin or Ravenclaw. Baton-wands and scarves from each of the houses will be available for purchase in the lobby during the pre-concert activities.
Upon entering the theater lobby, you'll report to your chosen "House" to receive your part as the audience. Trick or treat between all the houses and meet characters from the show. There will be lots of fun backdrops for photos, live music and other activities at stop. Be sure to dress up in costume to enter the Halloween contest for your chance to win $100. All costumes will be judged by the characters at the end of the show. A Baton-wand, which will be a part of the interactive experience, will be on sale at the time of the ticket purchase as well as at the concert. Proceeds from the Baton-wand sales will support the Symphony's Music Education programs.
Global Credit Union is the presenting sponsor of this special event and will be adding some magic of their own to the experience.
