Say farewell to summer in spectacular fashion at the Spokane Symphony's Labor Day Concerts. These concerts have been delighting thousands of people on Labor Day weekend for more than thirty years with their lineup of light classics, patriotic tunes and favorites from the world of pop, Hollywood and Broadway.  Bring a picnic and join frolicking kids, dancing couples, old friends and random passersby—all united by the sound of music outdoors. This FREE concert is the perfect end to the summer and fun for the whole family!

this year, COMSTOCK LOCATION HAS CHANGED to riverfront park's u.s. pavilion!

Due to wind damage at Comstock Park, our Labor Day Monday concert will be held downtown at Riverfront Park's U.S. Pavilion. 


  • Concert is 90 minutes long, with one intermission.
  • Blankets, beach towels and low-backed beach-style chairs are allowed.
  • Feel free to bring a picnic and your own beverages. NO GLASS IS ALLOWED. 
  • No animals are permitted, except for service animals.

Riverfront park us pavilion CONCERT DETAILS

  • Door open at 4pm. Entry is on the south side of the U.S. Pavilion only
  • Beer and wine are available for puchase at the concession stand. NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. 
  • Empy personal water bottles or factory sealed water bottles are permitted. A water-filling station will be available.
  • There will be chairs for 500 people set up in front of the stage.
  • If you prefer the lawn, you may bring a blanket, beach towel or short stadium chair.
  • No animals are permitted, except for service animals.


Saturday, Sept. 3 at 6 pm at Pavillion Park in Liberty Lake

There are no masking requirements or COVID-19 health policies at this Liberty Lake concert. Every venue may make its own rules about outdoor concerts, and there are none at this event.

Monday, Sept. 6 at 6 pm in the Pavilion at Riverfront Park

Attendees must show the following to be consistent with other concerts that are held at the Pavilion in Riverfront Park:

  1. Proof of being fully vaccinated OR
  2. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the concert

Children under 12 may attend, but we ask that they stay close to their parents; please sit together as a family in the lawn areas of the Pavilion; and be socially distanced at six feet from others; also, children 5-12 years are asked to wear masks for the entire event. Masks are not required for adults, but are recommended.
