Spokane Ballet Studio Presents: Teacher’s Choice

Spokane Ballet Studio presents its 5th Annual Recital on Wednesday, May 31 at 7 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. The Studio’s experienced staff choreographed dances to a wide range of classical works, including music by Delibes, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Herold, Bayer, Lyon, and Parry. Works set to modern music by Dan Savell and Joan Jeanrenaud, as well as a piece performed to late 20th-century pop and rock music, are also on the program. DETAILS 

Spokane Elite Dance Studio: “Part of Your World”

Spokane Elite Dance Studio celebrates their 7th Annual Spring Recital with an under the sea show featuring entertaining dance numbers and beloved characters at Martin Woldson Theater on Friday, June 2 at 5:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. There will be a short awards presentation after each show, and a 90-minute Studio Showcase of performances from the Teen/Adult Classes, Acro Dance Classes and Spokane Elite All Star Competition and Performance Team after the Saturday morning performance. 2017 Spokane Youth Sports Awards

The Spokane Youth Sports Awards is an annual awards ceremony powered by Spokane Sports Commission in partnership with SWX. Recognizing local coaches and high school-aged athletes for exceptional athletic performance, these prestigious awards will be held on Monday, June 5 at 6 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Live Nation Presents: David Blaine Live 

Live Nation presents David Blaine live in Spokane on Wednesday, June 7 at 8 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Described by Howard Stern as the greatest magician that ever lived, Blaine single-handedly redefined magic after producing and directing his original television special Street Magic when he was just twenty-three. Over the last two decades, his nine primetime specials have seen him being buried alive in New York City for a week, encased inside a six-ton block of ice for three days, and more. Leadership Spokane Commencement 

Leadership Spokane's adult and youth classes of 2017 will graduate in a festive 35th Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, June 8 at 5 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. The ceremony will celebrate 60 adults and 42 high school youth committed to building our community. DETAILS  

On Track Academy Commencement 

On Track Academy celebrates the graduation of the Class of 2017 on Friday, June 9 at 7 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. DETAILS   

Gordon Lightfoot in Concert: The Legend Lives On… 

The legendary Gordon Lightfoot’s cross country tour includes a stop at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on Sunday, June 11 at 8 p.m. Featuring Lightfoot’s well-known hits as well as some deep album cuts for the die-hard fanatics from his 50-year musical career, the event is sure to be a great thrill for live audiences and anyone who enjoys hearing great music and seeing a living legend in person. The Community School Commencement 

The Community School celebrates the graduation of the Class of 2017 on Monday, June 12 at 7 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. DETAILS  

spokane youth ballet's summer concert 

Spokane’s premier youth ballet presents their summer concert on Saturday, June 17 at 7 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox The program features two entertaining ballets for the entire family: “Soirée Musicale,” a light classical ballet staged by Artistic Director, Kristen Potts, and Phaedra Jarrett’s version of “The Little Mermaid” set in the 1980’s. Over 70 talented young dancers are joined by guest artist Benjamin Tucker of Nevada Dance Theatre and Mauricio Vergara who dances professionally with Ballet Tucson. DETAILS

Fox Presents: Lyle Lovett and His Large Band

Fox Presents the Grammy award-winning Lyle Lovett, in concert with his Large Band on Friday, July 14 at 8 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. A singer, composer and actor, Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums over three decades. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of Americana, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers. DanTDM on Tour

International internet sensation DanTDM is bringing his online world to the real world, meeting fans across the globe. One of the world’s most famous YouTubers will stop at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on Saturday, July 22 at 2 p.m. Meet his favorite characters, his pet pug Ellie and help him on his adventure! This show is fun for the whole family, whether or not you’re a fan of Dan on YouTube. Tickets start at $42. V.I.P. packages available. DETAILS   

Fox Presents: Herb Alpert and Lani Hall

Fox Presents Herb Alpert and Lani Hall in concert with their band on Thursday, July 27 at 8 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Legendary trumpeter Herb Alpert has won 9 Grammy Awards and sold more albums than the Beatles. His wife, Lani Hall is also a Grammy Award-winning vocalist and former lead singer of Sergio Mendes’s Brasil ’66. Tickets start at $38. DETAILS  

Fox Presents: Melissa Etheridge — M.E. Live

Fox Presents Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge on Friday, August 4 at 8 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. Known for her confessional lyrics and raspy, smoky vocals, Etheridge has remained one of America’s favorite female singer-songwriters for more than two decades. Tickets start at $48. DETAILS  

Fox Presents: Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue

Fox Presents Trombone Shorty, jazz performer from New Orleans, and his band Orleans Avenue in concert on Sunday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. He’ll feature music from his newest album, Parking Lot Symphony, which captures the spirit and the essence of The Big Easy while redefining its sound, plus selections of 70's Funk, Rock, Hip-Hop and R&B. Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home "Love and Comedy" Tour

Garrison Keillor, best known for creating and hosting his popular variety show, “A Prairie Home Companion,” will be in Spokane on Wednesday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m. at Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox. His Prairie Home "Love and Comedy" Tour will feature performances by Richard Dworsky & The Roadhounds, Aoife O'Donovan, and Fred Newman. Tickets start at $49.50. DETAILS
