Spokane Symphony Gala 2020

Thursday, November 19 | 7PM - 8pm

While the Spokane Symphony is unable to perform live and The Fox remains closed due to COVID-19, the heart and spirit of the Spokane Symphony is very much alive as we celebrate our 75th birthday.

You only need to purchase one ticket per household to access the event. Add on a delicious heat-and-serve dinner or charcuterie board by London's Ultimate Catering to make it an even more special evening and receive a complimentary bottle of wine from Latah Creek Wine Cellars.

Hosted by:
4 News Now Chief Meteorologist, Kris Crocker

Q: How do I view the live virtual event?
The virtual event will be available at Event.Gives/SSO. On Thursday, November 19, to view the event (starting at 6:45pm), you must first create a login, which is available at the top right corner of the page. Once logged in, a button saying “Go Live!” will appear mid screen in a blue banner. Click that button to access the event.

Q: When and how do I sign in to view the live event?

Please login here at 6:45pm on November 19 to ensure we can promptly begin the event at 7:00pm. Once logged in, a button saying “Go Live!” will appear mid screen. Click the “Go Live!” button and follow the prompts to access the live event. The Spokane Symphony team will take it from there.

Q: What if I am having trouble signing in?

The account for this event is not linked to any other SSO account you may have; you will need to create a new login to begin. You may need to reset your password if you have any trouble logging in. Just click on “LOGIN/REGISTER” at the top of the screen on this webpage. There will be a pop up window that provides you with an option to “text me a pin” or “email me a pin” in order to set your password for your account.

Q: Should I log in on a mobile phone, tablet, or computer?

The viewing experience is optimal on a computer or tablet in landscape mode. While the mobile experience is not optimal on a mobile device, flip it to landscape mode (hotdog style!) if it is your only option. You will see the full screen this way. We recommend using Chrome, Firefox, or Safari as your internet browser.

Q: I’m having trouble viewing the live-stream. What should I do?

Simply refresh the page within your browser; this solves most challenges. Should you continue to experience troubles, contact us at Donate@SpokaneSymphony.org

Q: My audio cut out. The stream is a little choppy. What happened!?

We have learned that many internet connections run at different speeds. In most cases, if you simply refresh the page within your browser, this solves most challenges. Should you continue to experience troubles, contact us at Donate@SpokaneSymphony.org

Q: Will my mobile number be shared with other attendees or broadly?

Nope! Your number will only be shared with Spokane Symphony staff. Think of this as your login username and bidder number. It’s the number where we’ll send you text notifications, alert you about auction items and bids, and keep in touch throughout the event.

Q: How do I participate in the paddle raise?

On November 19, between 7:00-8:00pm, our co-hosts (4 News Now Chief Meteorologist Kris Crocker, SSO Executive Director Jeff vom Saal, and SSO Board President Elizabeth Kelley) will provide you with an opportunity to engage in a live, paddle raise on your computer while watching the event. The paddle raise will be provided through ourEvent.Gives site. You must be logged in, click “Go Live” in the blue banner, the click “continue to the event” to participate.

Q: Where’s my cart? I want to see what I’ve purchased!

During the live event, tap on the three horizontal dots at the top right portion of your screen. You’ll be offered the option to view your cart. From there, you can make edits and/or check out!

Q: What if I prefer to donate directly instead of participate in the auction or paddle raise?

If you prefer to make a one-time or recurring donation to support the Spokane Symphony, you can so do directly on our website. You can also mail a check to: Spokane Symphony, PO Box 365, Spokane, WA 99210-0365.  We are grateful for your generosity!

Q: Where do I go to pick up my meals?

Your heat-and-serve meal(s) will be available for pick-up from The Fox on November 19th. Please email Bailie at bailieguinn@spokanesymphony.org with desired pick-up time on 11/19 between 12:00 and 5:30pm. When you arrive to pick-up, please pull up to the Box Office entrance on the Sprague Ave side of The Fox, where the meters will be blocked off for you.  Once parked, please text or call Bailie at 509-308-0291 with your name and car’s make/model/color and your food will be delivered to you in your car, no need to get out.
