Spokane Symphony Teen Leadership Council

The Spokane Symphony Teen Leadership Council is a group of teens from area high schools who advocate for and serve the mission of the Spokane Symphony as ambassadors within their schools and our community.

  • Become a Spokane Symphony ambassador within your school and community
  • Serve a minimum of 1 school year
  • Success is based on a points system earned by participation in pre-approved activities
  • Attend monthly meetings 
  • Communication must be by the student (though parents will be copied on all correspondence)


  • Open to local high school aged students in the Inland Northwest
  • 30 spots available

Spokane Symphony Mission Statement:

We believe orchestral music nurtures the human spirit, enhances the quality of life and is integral to the preservation and development of culture. The Spokane Symphony is dedicated to providing high quality, professional orchestral performances and education to the Inland Northwest for the purpose of enriching and transforming lives through music.  We do this by presenting passionate, high-quality performances of classical, popular and innovative music, creating cultural enrichment for audiences of all ages and backgrounds, and aid in the artistic development of the audience and musicians by providing new musical experiences. We are also committed to developing and delivering inspirational education and community programs.
